I really like these, and would love one in Pearl White or Pewter with the more square Aero kit - I often have a look at what's for sale over on S15OC, but the one thing that puts me off buying one is how hard they seem to be to get rid of when you fancy a change, unless you want to take a real...
I factored in the imminent cost, ~£3k.
You would have to get all that work done, so for the same price, in fact maybe even a bit less, you would be able to get a better example, both cup packs, stainless exhaust (the standard would need replacing eventually because they rust and rot) & belts...
Welcome to the world of Samsung phones, where every update is some kind of bodge that ends in you having to do a factory reset - shame as the hardware is always top notch, but the updates are often anything but.
Bought the exact stuff you posted Dan, and went at them, still didn't do the job. I think what's left on is properly baked on, like etched into the paint.
I know a CNC guy who does a lot of work with ally, so I'm going to see if he's got any contacts who can help me out with shot/sandblasting...
Investment if it's in LY.
By virtue of therefore being the best car Renault ever made in the best colour Renault ever made.
Some guy put one on here that was detailed a few months ago, it was perfect, completely and utterly.
EDIT: Here...
Considered 700 quid laptop and 100 quid 27" monitor? If you really don't need a lappy or already have one then fair enough, but otherwise it might be worth consideration.
I bought a desktop a few years ago, then spent ages wishing I'd got a laptop, and just recently ended up buying a laptop...
I insured my 182, and then had my 1.2 insured with the same company on a 0 miles policy, I think it was limited to 62 days or something. I explained I needed it insured to sell it, they said it's not something they usually do if you're just joining them, but said they'd do it anyway.
Or saving it.. depends on your outlook. You're probably aware of the internet magnifying things, so you could run a Gen1 and have no problems at all, but personally if I was spending upwards of 15k on a car, I'd quite like there to be no issue that might make my engine go bang, rather than...
I think the Gen2 have slight cosmetic changes, the front end just looks a bit fresher? Think they have revised lights, possibly with DRLs
The 3.4 does have a revised bearing, it's dual-row rather than single-row, but the dual-row has been known to let go. If you're looking at resale value, then...
Depends if it's Gen2, they have Direct Fuel Injection, so no IMS full stop. They started the 3.4 S near the end of Gen1, so just just being a 3.4 doesn't mean it doesn't have IMS, needs to be Gen2, which they started producing in '09, think 3.4 engine started in '07. You can get an '09 2.9 not...
Best car for 15k? Won't the Gen2 2.9 Boxster get near that soon, with PDK too? That's what I'd be going for, none of the IMS worries then. Know it's not an S, but the 2.9 Gen2 is nearly as quick as the Gen1 S.
Ford Graphite Grey or Rover Stone Grey? Car is Liquid Yellow.
I think Ford Graphite looks a bit too dark sometimes, but this might be suited to LY, whereas Rover Grey might be a bit light? Which one gets closest to the Matt Graphite that OZ offer as standard?
