I factored in the imminent cost, ~£3k. You would have to get all that work done, so for the same price, in fact maybe even a bit less, you would be able to get a better example, both cup packs, stainless exhaust (the standard would need replacing eventually because they rust and rot) & belts...

For £3k, I'd be wanting more than a non-cup packed 182, with the standard exhaust in Arctic. Keep looking, stay patient.

Depends if it's Gen2, they have Direct Fuel Injection, so no IMS full stop. They started the 3.4 S near the end of Gen1, so just just being a 3.4 doesn't mean it doesn't have IMS, needs to be Gen2, which they started producing in '09, think 3.4 engine started in '07. You can get an '09 2.9 not...

Best car for 15k? Won't the Gen2 2.9 Boxster get near that soon, with PDK too? That's what I'd be going for, none of the IMS worries then. Know it's not an S, but the 2.9 Gen2 is nearly as quick as the Gen1 S.

Think you might be right, I'd rather they were a bit light than a bit too dark, getting too near to black kills the detail.

Ford Graphite Grey or Rover Stone Grey? Car is Liquid Yellow. I think Ford Graphite looks a bit too dark sometimes, but this might be suited to LY, whereas Rover Grey might be a bit light? Which one gets closest to the Matt Graphite that OZ offer as standard?
