Yep...I had problems with my Magnex and I didn't like the look & the weight so it only lasted a couple of weeks on the car.

Agree Take precautions to stop it happening....better to be safe that sorry and you'll be gutted if you don't do anything and it does happen. Make sure you get the reg of their car as well next time they come snooping around.

It's about owners of the uglier, inferior Mk1 version who aren't on 'CS wages' thus can't afford brand new cars so they make themselves feel better by putting these stickers on their cars lol:D

After actually owning both I'd go for the K-tec The Magnex I had was f**king heavy, looked way to big/chavo for the car (twin 3.5 inch pipes) and didn't sound good. This is through my actual experience of owning one....not because everyone says the Mk1 K-tec is crap etc I have a Mk1 stealth...

After my Impreza I was looking for something less full on image wise, newer, better MPG but still quick. Got my list of possibles down to CTR, Leon, Audi A3 & A4 & Clio. Found my 172 for sale privately with only 13000 on the clock so went for it....all the Audis were crap for the money I had...

I'm putting Brembo HC discs & EBC kevlar pads on my 172 next month....be interesting to find out if they better the stock setup which, IMHo is pretty good.

Not really in terms of performance but aftermarket panel can be reused so is advantageous in that respect.

Yep...a mere 172/182 is never enough for some bad boy gangstas out there..you have to show the rest of your crew that you have real blingage by driving around in a something which doesn't look like a Clio V6 :D
