I'd have to agree with the dealership/warranty thing.
My car is well out of warranty and I'm almost glad it is so I don't have to deal with the incompetance at Renault dealerships.
Never had any issues with my 172 loosing oil.
Always use the dipstick to check it when cold though.....don't rely on the dash readout...it's Renault electrics!
I always thought the Mk1 std airbox was better than the MK2s as it doesn't have the acoustic valve.
BMC could be an option as well....a lot cheaper than the Maxogen and enclosed.
Best way to go really
I'm probably not even going to bother doing much to the engine as it's pretty gutsy as it is....brakes and suspension though could make an already good handing car into a real stormer:)
Fair enough
I think it is a mod which kinda goes hand in hand with large 'jap style' exhausts and bling, bling wheels...but then again I do see quite a few boggo 1 litre Saxos around sporting these lights.
I do think the 172/182 are great looking cars as standard...I think the only thing to...
That's what I said up there...there is no 'law' against lexus lights.
I'm not personally keen on them by then again I don't like bodykits, lowered cars or graphics.
The brakes are good....I'm runing stock setup and they're better than the brakes on my 19 16v and Subaru and those had decent pads on and drilled & grooved discs.
Jap cars are generally good....great performance for the money if your careful and don't buy a complete lemon.
A big no from me on any colour but I suppose they are less obvious on a silver car.
Matter of personal preference though....if you like them leave them on.
Only road going car it looks good on is the RA Subarus and the spec Cs because they are supposed to be on those cars.
Fitting one to a Clio (especially if it's non functional/stick on) is daft
