Crack in boot sounds serious.
I know the crumple in my boot floor small though it was cost a lot to fix.....I hope he's got a big bank account to pay for it.
260bhp NA engine would be nice...how 'usable' would it be on the road though...i.e where would the power be?
For 5k I think I'd have to be looking at a different car
Definately have a look under the boot carpet mate.
I got rear ended last year and from the outside it didn't look to bad.....took it to the bidyshop and on close inspection it had a slight ripple in the boot floor:S
Definately sounds like electrical s**t which is beyond me.
Hope you get it fixed....I'd find a good independent dealer/garage myself if you don't want to get ripped off.
Don't like that too much....looks like my old twin exit Magnex which was way OTT for the little Renault.
Single exit or hidden tailpipe would have been better.
I put a sports cat on and the enigine management light has been on for months without causing any issues.
Just the second o2 sensor thinking there's a fault
Eventually I'll buy a cheap OBD reader and clear it
I had a Magnex on my 172....for about 2 weeks!
Very heavy and used to swing about on the hangars.....never fell off though so I think you may have a dodgy mount.
Had my old 172 for over a year and it's been pretty good reliablity wise.
Had Renaults before though so used to build quailty/things falling off all the time!
