I wouldn't leave a 172/182 parked on the street let alone a V6 but then I am a bit paranoid about my cars. I'd seriously look at renting a garage for peace of mind and use a push bike for getting to and fro.

Go for the best example you can find for what you can afford. Insurance is going to be very steep at 19 though

I always use 97 ron fuel Don't think it makes a great deal of difference in NA engines like the Clio

Second pic down shows the breather pipe....is it resting against the filter there or is it actually plugged into an outlet? If it is it looks like a small jubilee may be in order.....the angle it's at may be letting air escape round the edges.

Ridiculous but sounds about right...they usually want around £600 to do the cambelt alone. I'm definately taking mine to a specialst in october for it's 72k service...with things like cambelts it's not worth f**King about...needs to be done properly.

I'd go for a 182

Got mine fitted okay....took some doing including buying a new rear exhaust mount and filing out some of the holes so I could position it further forward to stop it banging. Still got a very small leak from the rear joint but TBH cannot be bothered to sort it out...sounds good and doesn't seem...

Got to love the cup/ff banter When I brought my FF I didn't even consider the cup. Saw one ages ago in the Renault showroom but didn't really know what it was so kind of forgot to look at them and just went for the lowest mileage for price 172/182 etc I could find.

Definately better sell up now as I've been labelled a chav now twice in a week lol Can't believe this thread has gone so far.....only on CS eh
