Got a few bits done this weekend, including some seam sealer on the repairs:
I noticed that the sealer had cracked on the upright repair, anyone know why this would happen?

Fortunately, doing things properly and paying attention to the finer details is what I really enjoy.

At 17, the last thing you want to do with (presumably) your first car, is leave it standard and be plain.
I understand the urge to want to play and tinker and the like, my best advice would be to spend a few hundred quid getting it nice and tidy, so genuine Renault parts, get a few bits...
As promised, some photos of the headlining.
It's quite difficult to capture the colour and texture, but you get the idea. It's a foam backed nylon material in a charcoal shade.
Will start making it soon, using my old headlining as a template.
Yeah, we went down Manor Avenue and through the back roads.
I'll sort something out when I get chance to have a good look at the map, and when the roads will be closed.

Anyway, cheers for the map Jon, if anyone wants any info on how to get there, drop me a message and I'll do my best to work out a way in. For the most part, it should be quite straightforward, just allow a bit more time to get there.

As said, I'll get some non adhesive tape and redo the whole harness, it's a 36 year old car, so tbh, there isn't much wiring to wrap!
