No idea how you managed to warp it!
Support it on some wooden blocks in a similar way to how it would sit on the car.
It'll help keep it's shape, on the off chance the solvents in the paint are causing the plastic to soften. It'll also ensure you cover the areas you see when it's on the car.
Got the ARB all fitted up today.
Was going to fit the coilovers today, but my hubs don't fit, I was told they would but it turns out I need 323 ones. :mad:

Sorted the control arms out today.
Original rubbers were destroyed, arms were looking rough, and threads were rusty.
Popped down to a local car place, picked up a pair of random ball joints for a couple of quid:
Burnt the rubber out of the ARB...
Most electric drills have soft start anyway, so use that but don't go mental?
If you're gentle with the trigger, you should be able to get a speed above the maximum of the cordless, but not wound all the way up on the electric one.

The "plan" (if I can really call it that) is to get the car rolling again and usable, then I'll get started on upgrading parts once it's a rolling project.
Braided hoses/brake upgrade are among the many plans!
Nothing overly exciting today:
Struggling to get the bushes out of the new control arms. Going to try sawing them out over the weekend.
A change to my personal life now means I have a lot of spare time, so hopefully progress should pick up to a decent rate soon :)
As above, me and a fair few from the NW CS region are going to Spain for a week, meaning we will miss CSS.
As said though, the last 2 CSS's have been fantastic, and it's still growing and evolving, meaning this year should be even better.
