So, yesterday while working on the E21, I noticed that there was some cloudiness to the roof of the car, upon closer inspection, it appeared to be "bubbling" or "blistering".
I then looked around the car, and found patches of it in a few different places, the worst being this:
Naturally, I'm...
Welcome :)
Manchester is a decent place to be, especially South Manchester :)
Myself and Jon.G keep things moving with regards to meets, keep your eye on the NW area section of the forum, and pop along to the next one, and say hello :)
So, it's starting to look more and more like a car!
Yesterday was glass day, got all but the passenger door and the windscreen in.
First up, clean the glass with some white spirit, eraser and Tardis:
The cleaned the seal up a little bit, and offered it up:

Depending on the date, I would take the E21 on, if nothing else to check the health of the M10.

You know who your real mates are when they're prepared to stay and help hang some 36 year old doors while I shout and bark orders.
Massive thanks lads, today was fantastic. Great progress, great effort, this thing is going to look the fecking dogs!
I started with all that sort of thing. I've started realising that doing that, will leave me with this thing finished in 2 years! In the interest of getting it finished, I've got to accept a few things won't look brand new. Not just yet anyway.
Some progress.
Yesterday myself and Christopher got to work on the suspension. Namely, fitting the new dampers.
First off, it was a fraught day, everything we tried to do just went up the wall.
- New ARB doesn't fit, had to revert back to my original one and clean the threads up on the...
