I'd go for the Mk2 as well As above...solong as the car has been looked after & serviced properly don't be too worried about the mileage.

Don't get a cup...you've got no leather and no abs so you'll be off the road in no time lol

Now that's nice The other ones are chav-tastic and who in their right minds would cut the roof off a R5....flexy enough as it is!!!! lol

Cost you less money in the long run than the R5 which will break down every five minutes and melt pistons when you wind the boost up to get to 200bhp. If teh VAG is too expensive just go for the 172 for the reasons above:)

Buy the best car you can afford....cup or ff

Good Mk2 will probably cost around 6k...there are cheaper ones out there but not in great conditon/high milers

Cambelt needs doing at 5yrs regardless of milage....it can perish/crack with age and snap so I'd get that done a.s.a.p

Look at that c**p....can spot it's not a V6 from a long way off due to the lack of air scoops on the rear quarters. Don't do it

I do agree I fitted a Janspeed sports cat and it did increse the exhaust noise slightly. As for cups...well, like people have said on here, insurance companies have their records and if more are being totalled the premiums go up...simple.

You'll notice the difference...it's a very good modification to do.

About £100 from K-tec which is cheaper than the OE one Reccomend taking the bumper off to fit properly though.....there was no way I was going to secure it to the car using the self tappers provided.

Newver tried these but I may put a set on the car when my OE discs bite the dust. I hope they are better than the EBC turbogrooves....now they were c**p, made the braking worse!

What am I looking at.....that 'damage' is so, so minor. TBH I'd just leave them....you'll only kerb them at somepoint.
