Havent read all this post, (sorry, but I’m supposed to be working!) but I take it that your 172 has no xenons?
Where was it imported from?
And anyhow, the washer balls that go with the xenons are not worth the hassle!!:confused:
I was offered a stupidly low part ex price for my import when I looked at the 182....BUT the dealer keeps on ringing me and has upped the offer twice and reduced the price of the 182!!!:cool:

I looked into this too, you can get a lead to make the display and stalk work but you have to upgrade the changer to one compatible with your new head unit
It was about £20, that was before I had the springs and it still seems fine.
Maybe the bloke who fitted my springs checked it. He definitely re balanced my wheels.
Yes they can check it at Renault and they will charge you. The dealer near me seems to have problems tracking cars as all the cars that Ive test driven have been wonky, including the 182!!

BP ultimate isnt 99ron, in fact its not much different from any other supper unleaded, just has the added engine cleaners...its very good for cars that run on 95ron as most uk cars do..in that case its the best.

yep, Ebaches, handle so much better and seem to be getting lower as they settle...also, I had three average size passengers in the back and it looked so cool, I think that they helped with the settling process!!! :cool:

You dont have to convince me, I drove a cup around all weekend and loved it, but still wouldnt swop my 172 for one
I havent gone from a 172 to a 172 cup but I have a mark2 172 and my sister has a nice new 172 cup and as much as I love the cup, the paint and wheels alone are so nice and what a drive!!! Id rather have the 172 and all the toys :)
I think that you should sell the 172 and turn down the company car and use our fantastic public transport system.
NOT!!!! Keep the 172 and remember to put a "Dont hate me, my other car is a 172 and way better than this!" sticker in the window of the Astra!! ;)
