Cool I think If I was going to get in another Impreza again it would have to a wagon....my rear seats in my Jap WRX didn't even fold down! Still love the P1 and 22B as they are icons for those who know their cars:)

Wagons are great as the boy racers tend to overlok them as they want the big wing etc that goes with the saloon. Kinda good having an estate car that can carry dogs etc which has 280bhp (STI version).

Yeah, I think you are a lucky chap...I've only ever seen two or three out on the roads in years of driving so they are rare beasts. Faster or not than the 182 or other cars who cares...the sound of that V6 engine is what it's all about:)

197 is a better all round car...they have just made it a bit too refined by the sound of it. I do like it a lot but definately won't be buying one

Kwikfit etc do not do them I think you could be right about getting another made up unless you can find a second hand OE one in good condtion (probably rare as most have fallen off!).

Your right in saying there are no patterns available for the 172 & 182.....real pain in the ass. I'm sure there must be plenty of people on here that have removed their standard exhausts and still have them knocking about....I'd put a message in the wanted section. You could also try a...
