Yeah I think it was a Silver 172 with turini's. It did have a sticker on the back window, but I didn't really catch what it was!

HID's emit light in a different pattern to to filament bulbs, mainly due to the nature of their construction. Projector lenses tend to be able to correct the beam better, so as to render the pattern the same, irrespective of whether the bulb is HID or filament. Not all cars have them though...

Well yeah. They'll still work so long as you don't actually unplug them (all the normal wiring will still be as it was). All you do to plug a new HU is unplug the old one and plug the new one in :)

The stock tweeters will still be plugged in!
