Demon tweeks do good exhaust paint...expensive but stays on there.
I used some to paint the turbo downpipe on my old Impreza (Very hot) and it stayed put:D
Welcome to the forum
Panel filter is a good first mod to do ....go for ITG, Green or K&N and you can't go wrong.
Very easy to do....just requires the removal of the induction elbow (2 Jubilee clips) and 6 or 7 screws to open the airbox.
Good luck with it:D
I can't believe gardeners water their plants/lawns with drinking water anyway....surely the best thing to do would be to get some water butts installed and use rainwater?
The situation is looking bad though.....it's going to have to rain a hell of a lot to recharge the levels.
I've used EBC greens before on th road and they have been good....probably not good enough for track use though.....Ferodo, Pagid or Mintex probably better for that kind of driving.
Put in in the sale section.
As for mods fot the 02 172 I've put a sports cat and K-tec stealth on my car retaining the looks but improving the drive slightly.
You could put the cup splitter & rear spoiler (as above) as they are OE parts on cup cars so won't look chavvy.:D
No need for octane booster at all....that stuff is good for Japanese turbo imports designed to run on 100ron fuel.
Not sure on the engine cleaner.....injector stuff can be good once in while.
Renaults F1 success definately can't do them any harm....although most people (myself iincluded) didn't buy one because of that connection.
TBH I don't feel proud to own the car but I actually like the way it looks fairly low key and not much different to the entry level Clios.
Nice one
Quite an easy job really....done quite a few pad/disc changes and the only problem I've come across is sticky pistons where they can be a bit of a pain to get back into the caliper to accomodate the thicker (new) pad.
Usually use a big G clamp and just wind them back in:D
