I've read about that aswell and when we done the disks etc I never seen any spacer or anything so it possibly wasn't even there to start with, apparent the brakes were 'redone' just before I bought the car but ill get it checked out.
Any idea what the part is called so I can get them from...
Hi there..
Couple of months ago, my father and i replaced the rear disks (+bearing.abs rings) and pads. but when we got them back on, there was a fair bit of play in the drivers side wheel, we thought it was the new bearing that was dodgey so i sent it back and got a new one, fitted it the next...
Holts tar/grime remover is good stuff, spray it on, leave it for a minute, watch the tar melt, then wipe it off
Edit - Oh, and its actually bitumen, not tar :P
Cat to manifold for my ph 2 172 was about 27 from renault if i remember rightly.
I took mine to the local halfords garage and they done it for a fixed quote of 30 quid, it took the polish fitter 3 hours!!!
Yeah its an alright looking thing, I think its from granton/grantown, whatever it is.
It was in the retail park last night, I also seen a 61 plate gordini there, number 96 I believe.
I'm a ph 2 mate, I've seen the one you mean, 3/4 plate and some sort of multiespoke wheels, turini fakes I think. Tinted windows and a decent looking splitter?
Seen it about a few times now, it was for sale on gumtree a few months ago.
Yeah if your foot was on the brake then its pretty impossible for you to hit him really. (you have a handbrake you know)
Dispute it, blame him for rolling backwards into you.
