How are you finding the FK's? I've got them on mine and had an issue with both rear shocks dislodging the circ-clips on them

Cheers mate. Aye I'm still getting a little bit of true rub on the bumper bracket when really going for it in the bends. Haven't had a chance to change the height again yet though. Should only need lifted about 5mm.

But its nice and warm up there haha. I should be on with sorting it out tomorrow. I still need to get the new discs and pads on the front too, need to figure out what part of the pad needs to get the file treatment first though...,

do you know roughly how many turns your front and rears are from the bottom, found that if i hit a small bump i'm catching the front on a bracket near the front of the wing if the corner is loaded at the same time and sounds similar to what your getting.

That is what I was getting, don't have a clue how many turns I'm affraid, if I remember right I think I just measured 60mm from the bottom of the adjuster to the bottom of the threads. I decided I really liked the ride height though so iv just bent the bracket up out the way a bit, problem is now solved, no more rubbing

The springs arrived today mate, hopefully get them fitted tomorrow after work if everything goes to plan
Looking through this thread again makes me wish i bought a cup iinstead of the 172 haha. Just brilliant!

i havent up dated this in quite a while because iv not really been up to much with it, but a few weeks ago i had it in at renault for a service and after i gave it a quick clean so took a couple of new pics.
should be getting a few more bits and bobs for it through out the next few months, things have had to slow down for the minute though as me and the girlfriend are buying a house... i suspect the car has developed a slight misfire when cold as it runs very lumpy in the mornings now, so iv bought some magnecor ht leads a coilpack and a new set of ngk PRF6E-10 spark plugs to see if this cures the problem. I will up date when these items are fitted.
