    If it's the same as any other car, the ballast pack humming means the ballast pack is working (high voltages and the like). Most likely to be the bulb I would have thought though?

    If you can hear the ballast firing up and the bulb doesn't light, then it's probably the bulb. If you can't hear it then it may be the ballast? Try plugging it into the other side to see if it still fires up that one?

    Your car can be recoded to the key I think you mean mate. You can't reprogram the key fob itself.

    It's not the RenaultSport one, otherwise I would have said RenaultSport pack ;) They fitted the sport packs to some of the models before the campus came in iirc

    Renault sell the side skirts and rear valence as a part of a "sports pack" or something similar don't they? About £150 or something when I had a look.

    They look fine. Who's going to notice very slight colour differences when you're driving past anyway?! What about spraying them a matt black?

    1.6 8v is about 90 and the 1.4 16v is about 98. But then the 1.6 has a little bit more torque so it's all swings and roundabouts really.
