Stick with the OE airbox and a decent panel filter.
I am led to believe a lot of these claims about cone filters/IKs being superior is just marketing BS.
I fitted a K&N to my old 19 16v and it really killed off the torque (not that it had much in the first place anyway!)

What did you do with the old silencer/valve....looks like a b**ch to get to in order to remove....can you just leave in in-situ and feed the piping down past it?

Any car owner worth their salt should know that the Focus RS was flawed due to the differential and handling traits.
I think they have developed on this though with the ST although I can't see it becoming the icon that the Cosworth was.

Surprised to hear the bumper has to come off....they really have tried to make this car difficult to service yourself....I mean the plugs are buried underneath the inlet!!!!!
I may leave the std Induction system in for now....is it any good or does that valve/2way...
