    Sounds like a nice car....especially in black. 6k sounds reasonable although I think if you did shop around you may be able to find an example with fewer miles on.

    It is good even though I don't own the Trophy but one of it's precursors...the 172. Only making 500 Trophies so could be a rare sight out on British roads.

    Stick with the OE airbox and a decent panel filter. I am led to believe a lot of these claims about cone filters/IKs being superior is just marketing BS. I fitted a K&N to my old 19 16v and it really killed off the torque (not that it had much in the first place anyway!)

    I'm not sying it's a bad car as I do like the RS Focus but I do remember a certain Mr Clarkson slagging it off due to all the torque steer.

    Cheers for that...that is the kind of thing I am thinking of doing. What did you do with the old silencer/valve....looks like a b**ch to get to in order to remove....can you just leave in in-situ and feed the piping down past it?

    WTF Any car owner worth their salt should know that the Focus RS was flawed due to the differential and handling traits. I think they have developed on this though with the ST although I can't see it becoming the icon that the Cosworth was.

    Thanks for the pic mate I'd like to keep the OE airbox but was wondering if ripping this valve off would de-restrict the airlow in any way.

    Thanks for the replies Surprised to hear the bumper has to come off....they really have tried to make this car difficult to service yourself....I mean the plugs are buried underneath the inlet!!!!! I may leave the std Induction system in for now....is it any good or does that valve/2way...

    Much easier to get power out of the turbocharged Focus than the Clio. Heard bad reports/reviews on the Focus' steering/handling though
