basically there is a 2 part bar that goes from gearstick to gear selector fork on gearbox this can be made longer or shorter to be able to select all the gears
Can do a whole torsion bar in 20 mins, but this one o had lowered and so i had greased up the splines when i put the bars back in, so came out nie and easy.
With one side jacked up i had to put almost all my weight on the one side to drop it about 20mm, but usually stays more os less down there...

Doubt it braided lines help eliminate spongieness from the pedal when pushed really really hard, try bleeding the system, and don't sit with your foot on the brakes when they are hot or you'll glaze the pad
its these new electrical shite clios, fucked if i'll ever buy one, give me a good oold fashoned car that actually has some sort of mechanical engineering in it any day rather than being one big fat computer

Pussies the lot of ya lol
NMatbrown fitted some to a valver but not 100% on how he did it, looking at teh pic i would use 2 mole grips, and failing that a small G clamp to compress the rubbers.
No point in putting rubbers on if they just fit loosly, they have to be a TIGHT fit, hence needing...
Just do one at a time, all you need lifting wise is a trolly jack.
You pull the bar out and sometimes you need to push down a little, if you are dropping it a long way you'll have to have both sides up, but for half an inch to an inch can do each side on its won, and don't forget to bounce up...
I just swapped the bearings on mine, discs were hardley worn, £37.60 for 2 bearings inc vat and discount from gsf, fiver to get them both pressed, fitting free, thats less than i could ahve brought one disc and bearing for

Try resetting the ECU, plug the battery for an hour or so.
