Planning on getting the full kit in the summer, when i have a bit o cash. Have heard there are only 3 mounting points for the rear bumper, even the OE one has more than that, so its deffo a job for making extra mounting points.

Haynes manual ses it shoudl be done every 36 000 miles, since mine is 9 years old and has only done 17 000 miles i think its a safe bet to say its never been changed

Just check the haynes manual changing the fuel filter sounds piece of piss, one thing, wont they change this when its serviced? and how do you clamp the fuel line?

no they only do the BB2 or single powermaster for the 1.2. The only place ive seen soemthing as big as a 4" for a 1.2 is somewhere liek k-tec or powerflow, that make em to fit

Gmax do 30/35mm springs, look at deamon tweeks. not sure about the quality of Gmax, was pondering gettign springs from them myself. I ahve seen plently dropped 60mm wiht no rubbing. You have to do the torsion bar, this is instead of rear springs. Any local garage shoudl be able to do this...

54mm hubs are supposed to be fitted to clios of 1.4 litres an up, but the max power project clio was 1.4 and had hubs of 52mm. On a 1.2 it would be 52mm

As for the crossovers, im planningt o ,mount mine in the boot wiht the amps. If you have a 3 door you could replace the rear pannel wiht 18mm MDF and mound em in the, if you round the edges off and carpet it it should look quite good.

What oil would everyone recommend for a 1.2 mk1 clio, gotta do my 6 monthly oil change soon, just want a rough guide at what oil is best. Cheers

Find your nearest powerflow dealer and just give em a ring, they were really hepfull when i was looking at options for mine, i wanted a twin 3" centre exit, but in the end i just got a peco, as i had no money

You recon you could get more than £1k for the bits if you were to break it? Those alloys shoudl fetch a few hundred

hehe, ironic aint it all these people have all these probs wiht one or two year old cars, but i have a 9 year old car and havent had a prob wiht it yet. There seems to be alot more probs wiht newer cars than the older ones, is it just me or is this tha case?

In our VW it was the case that the rear pressures were higher than the front, but i think im rihgt in saying that clios are a bit special in that as they are so light you need more pressure at the front for the weight of the engine, than you need at the back.

Is it just me being thick, but isnt it really easy to replace the head gasket?

Depends what sort of driving you do, if you drive through towns / cities alot then it is gonna go soomer than if you send most of you time on motorways / main roads
