Hummmmm
Im planning this conversion, apparently they all just plug straight in, spoken to several ppl who have doen thsi and they just say it all plugs in and works straight off.
only thing is if ur fitting ph1/2 dials to a ph3 then apparently you need to do sommet to the wires, but apart...
Try demon tweeks, if they cant help they might be able to point you int eh right direction.
Or give the manufacters a ring, they might be able to send you one direct
lol
Gonna have to get it booked in for the cambelt then :(, morre money.
Wonder if they would give me a discount if i had my suspension done at the same time?
Yeah my nan had it till a year ago from new, only used it for pottering down the town - bless her.
Took a thousand miles to run it in, cus as you can imagine being almost 80 she wasnt going at excessive speeds. So i have a virtually new car.
Only cost me £800 too :D
My car is a mk1 clio, 1995, only done 17,000 miles. Orignal cambelt.
It was suggested to me that i change my cambelt due to the age of the car.
What do you guys think?
hahahahaha
I ahve one, no probs atall with it
Mine is manual, dunno if that has anything to do with it
Car is 9 years old, dont use it much tbh, only when its really really hot
Yeah, the mk1 clio only has front springs, prob wiht this is that the front end is lowetr and stiffer (oh er), the back end is lower, but not stiffer. This means if u have fat m8s (as i do :( ), then you might have a prob wiht the exhaust hitting speed bumps etc.
Wot is is its sommet called resonance, which means that when the wheels reach specific speed they wobble and vibrate, it might be that ur wheels vibrate at higher speeds, or are only very slightly off balence and so the virbation is too small to feel.
Other option is that there were once...
Thought that was why it was so cheap, because it didnt have tax on it, i think if you add the tax that is on petrol onto it then its about teh same price as petrol.
you can get spax lowering springs for around the £40 mark, they will lower front and then the otrsion bar on rear will need to be adjusted, but u dont have to buy anything for that.
Im going for 35mm all round in the next month or so, i would have thought you would be lookign at about 2...
I have a lowley 1995 1.2, but it does the job, and aint too slow, atm the plan is to keep it for the next few years through uni, and then when i go into a 30k a year job get a cup or sommet.
I did like the psg bumper, till my m8 got it, its quite subtle on the car, for the first few times you think wow! but after that it wears off.
Im personally going for the KTR Combat kit, nice an extreme!
Cheapest place to get concept 300 is http://www.clifforddirect.co.ukwww.clifforddirect.co.uk, they have mobile installers. They are doign the above system for £349. GAP also do it, but with the interet from the credit you end up paying bout £550 in the end.
You wanna get a m8, or a friend of a friend to do it, my m8s uncle runs a car modding business about 30 miles from me, hell spray and fit my bumpers and skirts for about £300 inc. paint.
he did my m8s done an A1 job
170mm, but then that is with standard suspension and front bumper, when i get my 35mm spax drop and KTR Combat front bumper i amagine it will be about 50mm
I made the mistake of buying a cheapo one off ebay, stuck it on and wihtin a week at had fallen to bits, now its held to gethere wiht superglue, mush get around to rodering a cliosport one
