I know you can get ohone holders that clip onto the air vents, would imagine a company of nokias calibar(sp) would do these. Try their website, or carphone warehouse stores
Want the extra power and noise from a de-cat, am intending to get a full cat-back system, but have no money at the moment, so my question is:
Will a de-cat from k-tec fit onto a a mk1 clio standard pipe?, and does it jsut bolt on, or is it a garage job?
Yeah door panels are easy, remove handle, and pocket, remove torx screws and pull hard - some thoughful french chap masticed it on. Lock barrels are a bit hard to get ti, but its basically pull out a bit of retaining metal, remove operating rod and it just drops out.
I would have thought so, if its a ph3 then you should only need the dials, jsut done that to my ph2, all i need to do was swap over dials, water temp and revs worked...and my previous dials didnt have either on.
Someone had this done wiht ph2 dials to ph3 and paid about £70 to have em...
Can anyone recoment a Clifford fitter in the south midlands / Birmingham area?
Looking to get it fitted relativly cheaply, and also at the same time get central locking fitted, and obviously connected up to the alarm
I got 7" on my mk1 1.2, no scrubbage, although 12mm wider (1/2") and i would get scrubbing. I have 195s on mine btw, but will be putting 205s on next time to avoid kerbage
Yeah my cra was off the road for about a week after buying nice shiney alloys - scum!!
Try CIS they seem to be v.kind to younger people, and only peanilise you for enninge mods :)
Im 18, 20% NCB 1.2 95 clio mums name £800
is the sunglasses thing connected to the top dash or bottom? If its connected to teh top it shoudl come out wiht teh top bit o dash.
You shoudl be able to just disconnect the sunglasses thing (wot eva it is), either by drilling the rivets out, or unscrewing / unclipping it
Best thing to do, take the spedo off, then unclip the dials wiht the milage on it, then do the same wiht the old dials and just swap em over.
Regarding spedo cable, you have a metal bit behind the pannel, if u get the edge of it on there then you can take ur hand out and just push, just give...
If i was you i would wait a bit and get a full system i jumed inot buying a back box and regretted it, so now after only having mine a few months im gonna get a full de-cat
I think they are both the same, have a look in ur handbook m8
Wot bulbs do halfords do, i still got £15 in halford vouchers from xmas to use.
Anyone had any luck/bad luck with em, quality?
Dunno wot it will be like on ur valver but i thought mine was fairly loud, and then i wen to a meet and found mine was about the quietest there.
When the engine is idling u really cant notic a difference, but wiht mine you get a low roar when u start to accelerate away, not a oad one, just low...
I drilled hoels in my air box, towards back and away from engine, ended up wiht about 10 12mm holes and its made f*ck all difference, no change in noise, or responce
I heard it shoudl be as close to the battery as physically pussible, cus if there is a short between the battery and fuse then the whoel thing goes bang.
Think max distance is sommet like 6", but dont quote me on that, all i know is it has to be real close.
Why not simply buy a junction box...
Are you sopecifically afterr the BB2, im gonna be getting my k-tec one about easter time i would have thought.
mine cost £110, would be willing to sell it to u for £50, only had it a few months
