It's personal preference. None of the cars I've owned from new have been run-in, all ran perfectly. The day I picked the 200 up, warmed it, floored it.
For day in, day out driving they aren't as good. But for a 'hoon', the 200 just doesn't reward/thrill/scare in the same way. It's too secure, too composed.
But then a 205gti makes a 182 feel a bit boring, as does a 306gti.
You could apply the same thinking to a mobile. Clothes. Anything.
I personally wouldn't buy a new hot hatch with my own money. But I wouldn't buy a second hand car, which will most likely cost the same monthly, on finance. Personally I've no idea why anyone would tie up more than £5k ish of...
Its not a competition lol. My left knee's fubar'd and I found it uncomfortable in traffic. Nowhere near as bad as the pug, and not bad enough to stop me driving them though.
True. I don't buy clothes, music, games, etc based on how much I can sell them for. And I'll bet they cost me more over 2-3yrs than any clio will depreciate!
They aren't as much 'fun', but they best the mk2's in other area's. Despite the ultimate (ie on track) pace being about the same, 95% of people would be quicker in a mk3 because it's easier to drive.
Plush one. Although there's no speed limit, iirc you can still be pulled for 'furious driving' or similar. I'd quite like that on my record in all honesty.
