I would of thought he's gone for the pcp deal? Depreciation is a fact of life. You can't end up with a nicer car without facing that fact.

They aren't as much 'fun', but they best the mk2's in other area's. Despite the ultimate (ie on track) pace being about the same, 95% of people would be quicker in a mk3 because it's easier to drive.
