more likely to be the metal part of the top mount (the top cup) rubbing on the body where it passes through the hole. Common issue, I still use the original renault solution which is to lightly trim the hole out with a die grinder at the points where contact has been made. The fact you've used...
Electronic throttles are 63mm, cable throttles are 60mm.
enlarging butterflys gives a placebo effect by giving greater throttle opening for less pedal movement.
looks a very good one to me. It's had a CV boot, so the shaft wont be far behind needing replacing, but they're not massive money. I'd probably buy it if it's as good as the pictures
There should be a warranty if it was done professionally. Unless it's something in the engine that's gone and not the belt, you need to speak to whoever did the work.
Renault warranty may stand up, but they have to take the car and check the parts were installed correctly. This usually only...
Cambelt kit £125
Aux kit £72
Water pump? £70
Engine mounts £130
Cam seals £25
ARP bolts £78
Removal, timing and fitting, £400 ish off the top of my head, but variable depending on oils used etc.
Not a lot of point fitting ARPs unless you're going to do more to it (cams etc)
I'd buy it for...
I've always liked them on other cars, but they fit badly on clios in general.
Piper for me all day long. Janspeed sport if you want something more sensible. JP systems are just noise, always have been always will be, you shouldn't be able to hear an exhaust from 2 miles away unless it's an F1 car
Working on Dash2 (and others) support with Canems at the moment, so it's something I think would really set the car off, and have it ready for the next step once power starts to become a limiting factor (next year at least)
prob would have gone for the M1155 for track use. M1144 is definitely a road compound, but I don't bother with them much anymore really as standard replacement pagid pads are so superb
consumption is calculated by injector times and a big long algorhythm that takes all sorts into account. No idea on the rest of that fault, sounds like it's got something odd gone on, maybe had a remap with the wrong firmware version used so the ecu isn't functioning fully?
Yes that's me, She's...
as above really. GEN90 retains all functions of the trip computer and cruise control, except on conversions that require cable throttle (ITBs) where you lose cruise. My trip computer still works :)
