You won't be disappointed with those Pagids, fitted a fair few sets to 197s and 225's now (as well as loads of 172/182's), and they're brilliant. Probably would have used Pagid disks too (not that it really makes any odds)
Definitely have new pins to hand before removing the old ones, they bend...
if the journals are scored, you can clean up light marks/grooves with fine emery paper. If it's serious, then you may be looking at having to replace the head. Bearings are not replaceable unfortunately. I have 2 heads that are scrap because of the same thing
It sounds loads different since the new engine. I've not long ago been text the figures too ;) I'll leave it for Jay or Tony to post up, but i'm rather proud of that build
hang on, the immobiliser light stays red??? well your immobiliser isn't turning off! turn ignition on, press and hold the lock button on the dash for 10 seconds, then lock and unlock the car with the remote a few times. See if the light goes out. if it does it should start
put it in gear, rock the car, try starting. Sounds like the starter is jammed, or possibly dead. the dash lights dimming are due to the starter taking high current, but not doing anything
I'd look for corrosion on the connector first, then do an oil pressure test (remove sensor, plumb in pressure gauge). More than likely electrical, seen a few ph1's have a flickering oil light and made perfect oil pressure with a mechanical gauge test.
fitting those cams is a total waste of time. They're stock, but made to a better tollerence so they're legal for group n (standard engine) racing classes.
