It's all about people's expectations. I know people that do 5k miles a year, and insist on nonsense like heated seats, cup holders, tv etc etc in their "sports" cars.

That's the point though, isn't it. Modern cars have lost the plot slightly. The race to be ever faster/grippier/safer has led to cars that you can't enjoy in the way you can an older car. You could drive a Williams at 8/10, revel in the movement going into a corner, and how purely the car reacts...

It's a relatively young car, I'd be suspicious of the mileage tbh. Do the MOT's all look ok mileage wise? imo it's not cheap enough to warrant the risk, a 172 with history would be a safer bet.

I run them approx 5% lower than the standard Renault pressures (2.3/2.1 bar iirc), so I run 2 bar all round.

I don't bother with r888's any more. They are epic in terms of grip etc, but that doesn't (imo) make the day more fun. What it will do is wear bearings etc a lot quicker. I prefer the rs2. They last a lot longer, but have a stiffer sidewall than a normal road tyre.

T1R's are not wet tyres lol. They are an all season/summer tyre.
