    172 or 182?

Rofl. There should be no difference to insure a 172 or 182. The trophy is a group higher, some companies won't even insure cups. The only 182 colour worth shouting about is racing blue. Bear in mind the 182 exhaust is pricier to replace when it falls off. And it will fall off!

    197 wheel vs 172 wheel

Thought I'd put this up, surprised me. Expected the 197 wheel to be a fair bit smaller. Guess the 172's is a bus size wheel in a small car, whereas the 197 is actually a bus sized hatch;).

Good work. Not a fan of that colour on the Golf though, very staid.

    172 or 182?

The cup is a funny one. Looks epic, and meant to drive very well. But it doesn't have abs. For me, for an everyday car, that's nonsense. I don't care what the ragnotti wannabe heroes say, it's a useful safety net. Cadence my arse, there's a handful of people on here that could utilise that in an...

    ph1 172 zorst different to a ph2?

There are two different types of cat on the ph1. Single sensor is shorter, and unique to ph1. Twin sensor is same length as the ph2's. Depends which you have.

Wheel colour on ph1 Flamer, help me choose!

It's difficult, I think the safe options (silver/black/anthracite) look best.

    McLaren F1, Sandhurst, Berkshire!!!!!

I saw a red one, part of a convoy including another rarri and several amg mercs. All had similar private plates, guesssing a collection or minted family. Spotted an f40 in convoy with a diablo in haywards Heath last week, incredible.

    182 ff cup to a 182 trophy

Before you go either way, do a track day. You may get bitten by the bug, and that could influence your decision. Nothing worse than deciding you want something a bit more adjustable having just changed cars.
