Im sorry for your troubles
running him over probably isnt too good an idea, mind - using a vehicle with intent to harm is a purdy serious offence, even if used in defense, I believe. Let the Police and courts sort him out. Oh, make him say sorry to you as well.

i think the reno will be reliable (ie, mechanically tough, will start etc etc) but not very durable (ie flimsy build, plastics dont cope well with the winter etc). thats been my experience of reno in the past, and my current one displays the same characteristics.

never mind the BHP, some are amazed by the cc - they say is it a 1.6 then? and you say....er, not quite and they go er, a 1.4? and you go, nah, up quite a bit. They darent conceive its more than a 1.8 and you look at their faces when you go nah, its not a 1.8, up just a little bit more. BRING IT...
I agree, Rob - to sub-cultures who like cars, well we know what it is. But to the masses, a Clios the car you hire when youre on holiday. Oh well, lets keep it our little secret!

its a zero image thing, I think. When people I know ask what car I drive, they look disappointed when I say a Reno Clio. I then used to mumble that its quite powerful, small car big engine etc, but that was lost on them. Going any further and saying, its not just a clio, its renosport clio 172...

i dont mind the banter in between - you always get the answer at the end and with jokes thrown in for free! :)
So Mike, I assume the body is made on a normal Clio production line and then shipped to this place for the engine/trim to be added etc?
One more question (might be a daft one, mind)...

so, C172s are made by RenaultSport. But what happens? Are the bodies taken from Renualts normal factory and then shipped to RenaultSport to have the engine, interior and the trim fitted by the refugees at Sangatte? What is the process for making a C172 then? Anyone know?
cheers,

ok, so Im getting both -0 and just 0 without the -. It reads -0 after it has read -1. Oh, and I got -3 yesterday (coldest so far was in my Golf last year which read -8!)
I do find it useful - flashing away at 3deg reminds you to be cautious of ice (im sure you are anyway!)
