I wish I had 5k to spunk on proxy Clio engine. Still thinking about low boosting mine though ;) Looked at all the parts and don't see why it can't be done for around 1k, ED uses Chinese turbo and all the boost piping is standard stuff
Getting close, will be clearing out the garage for the car which will help massively, its not really sensible outside anyway doing brakelines IMO, especially if its snowing (don't ask how I know) o_O
I also picked up these ex f1 brake lines, well they say 2006 Honda f1 and considering the -2...
Youl be fighting to no end if you want to stop carls buisness. Just sort your friends out and leave it at that, its been on social media theres nothing else that you can do.
For those that want carls head on a stick, why are you even bothering? Putting all that rage into internet words as if any of this matters. Go out and do something productive, go help out the guy with the megane, instead of trying to win a battle of opinion on forums
Next time I go round me mums and she makes a dodgy dinner, Im going to go out and get the dogs toy to batter the lock off the cookie jar, will let everyone on facebook know as well
I have a b-g on mine which is nice and light and ive seen them sold cheaper new on ebay before, have an ebay special on there too and its weighty and all the pcd was off and had to be drilled out to fit!
Fully threaded as well. I put a partial in there and realised Id started threading the rest of the bolt, just held the gun open until the bolt snapped. 12.9 as well
Not possible. The only swap (without modifying) is mk3 non sport setup which uses 197 pads and the disc has a bigger bearing. You could do peugeot calipers as well but its the same caliper design which is not so good
@Martin. More than most say epas feels numb, perhaps a healthy motor and ecu solves that but Ive spent some 800+ on the rack and lines so far, so this is a small price to pay overall.
Managed to find a t piece with lugs to bolt to a bracket, just needed to search for all the correct fittings, should be nice and neat. Still to order gauge and sensor but deciding on gauges.
Obviously I was joking. Ive had a 1.2 and 1.6 mk2 and like you loved them at the time, but the 1*2 has that character you might feel but is just faster and more capable in every way
Want to run a gauge for pas temp but obviously searching for a simple t piece only exists in america to accommodate the temp probe. Anyone know of any adaptors or sensors that are an easy fit? (Before I order from overseas)
@JamesBryan No not the new S version. I thought Id remove the semi slicks that were around 10 years old so I could use the car a bit of the winter, should of left them on, they were very grippy, Im going to go out when its a bit more dry and see again
Just got the a048 swapped over for these new made this year, when do they get good lol. I only gave it a bit of a go anyway but they are light.. hadnt checked pressures though so garage could of given them 40psi
I dont remember the abs not being able to fire on oem calipers when I had them, Ive since having no abs and brembos had the oem calipers back on and no abs and could easily lock the wheels so shouldnt be a problem. I remember the ds1.11 with abs was comical how easy it stopped!
Thats a long way for the brake fluid to travel. Check in the engine bay if theres fluid on the servo, will corrode the paint around and underneath the mc
