Latest update on it! The car came with an invoice from when the previous owner "recommissioned" it as it had been off the road for about 10 years, this included a Battery, full service, fuel drained and replaced, timing belt change, MOT, etc etc - Not much change from a grand but the Aux belt...

This is driving me mad!! my ph1 came with a cone filter so I've sourced and fitted a ph1 airbox for it. Now the new airbox came with the cold air feed which i realised id most likely need to remove the bumper to fit, so fast forward a few months i now have the bumper off and i cant for the life...
Spray up the inner anti roll bar bushes first before you do the arms just to confirm its not them since its an easy job to rule them out, had it quite a bit from them before.
Are you doing the cambelt at the same time? worth doing the full job so that side of the engine is taken care of - in which case id be doing cambelt kit, aux belt kit (kit being the auto tensioner and any idlers etc) and pop a water pump on it. I wouldnt worry about the crank damper pulley...
id go with as above, sort out shed and get a chest, halfords ones are good value when you get them on offer, i remember just having a top chest and thinking ill never fill that....
Because of postage your probably better popping into your local dealer, but if you need a service kit then £45 delivered for a genuine filter, sump washer and oil from RPD isnt bad value!
