In today at Pro-Grip to have the alignment done after everything has been off and the rack replaced, I done it by eye and didn't get too far away haha
Then took it for an MOT and it sailed through with a clean pass once i refitted the standard rear lights with fog light (i no longer work at a...

As above, in my experience if its a Clio 2, UCH repair, if its a Clio 3, check the scuttle drains for being blocked and flooding UCH, and if its a Clio 4 test the battery lol
haha it doesn't, but the airbox was broken when i got it so it used to fall off and it sounded mint, its comedy how slow it accelerates to the redline even in first though!
I'm eyeing up a TCE conversion for it....
Had to laugh at my Facebook memories from a year ago when I bought this, "its just a quick tidy up and shift on...."
Today I was removing a perfectly good pattern part exhaust (two piece thing - they always blow!) to fit a genuine one piece one from an 08 Campus Sport i pulled off at the scrappy.
I don't know how I managed to set my camera to some mad Instagram like mode with blurring backgrounds that the kids all use today but here we go! SHE RUNS! and runs well! its like a new car, the engine is super quiet (I had loads of rotational noise from the noisy water pump, worn damper pulley...
It's showing Clio ones for me.
I've never come across one on the clio but generally my experience of aftermarket ones is they "do the job" but are never spot on.
That looks like it is made of thin steel too and will be likely to rust
200 cup rack and new under bonnet sound deadening arrived thinks to @renaultpartsdirect awesome service as usual!
Started throwing it back in tonight this was the only pic I got due to it being dark but it's in, mounted and all wiring done so tomorrow is just the shafts, coolant and AC...
£500 if still available from your local dealer, i had it on my DCI
Consists of:
Front Splitter
Side Skirts
Rear Diffuser
Trims on wing mirror mounts
Trims under fog lights
I got the body shop to fit it as it came with an instruction book about 40 pages long which they just threw in the bin
Fitted the freshly refurbished front callipers and carriers - Had them done by SSL Autoparts on ebay, really quick turnaround, fantastic job - recommended.
New OE Delphi lines fitted too
Be needing to get the RaceVans done soon, maybe a funky colour for it lol
don't worry about lag its not really an issue unless you fit something the size of a house radiator. I just use the universal ebay numbers, they used to be about £50, do the job just fine for these engines!
182 injectors just fit onto your current rail so all good!
the turbo runs out of puff at the 145-150hp mark so on a standard turbo that's the best you will get with injectors, intercooler, air filter, decat etc
Agree with that in regards to the mk2, its just a shame the common issues are so... common - And pricey!
HOWEVER, I still stand by the opinion my 220 Trophy was the BEST RS car I've owned! - it took me a few weeks to gel with it but id recommend anyone who likes an RS to try one, as in buy one...
You could, but given the bad experience of people who have done that before i would make sure you do your research and make sure the local place is clued up enough to do the job, just because "its only a Clio" or "they do stage 6 fiesta STs" I would be wary of having something custom like this...
Yes it has a factory intercooler but not a very big one, behind the grill on the drivers side.
The problem is that the factory injectors are almost maxxed out even as standard so its not a great idea remapping one on the standard injectors. If it was me i would take it back to where you got it...
Finally back together, I hadn't ordered the camshaft seals, but the exhaust one was weeping slightly so I changed them, so that was a delay.
I couldn't get the crank sprocket off (if I knew it was keyed I wouldn't have bothered taking it off!!!) so had to use a bit of heat so wanted to change...
have you stuck the alternator part no into eBay? the one failed on my DCI80 and when I googled the number I found out it was still used on some modern Renaults and got a date stamped 2014 genuine one that was identical from a breakers.
