No side airbags, lighter glass, no xenons, no auto wipers. Different suspension set up. 182 has cruise control. 172 doesn't have split folding rear bench (IIRC). 182 has more powerful stereo.
Just realised how arsy that post comes across, apologies! Actually just managed to get through to Curtis at Powerstation, I'm booked in next thursday to have mine fitted, happy days!
I'd wash it yourself, get a detail done just before you sell up. Might not add much value, but makes it easier to sell. Always give my cars a thorough going over before selling, 1st person to view has bought nearly ever car I've sold.
Unfortunately she's back wi riz now. Was so paranoid about the car, got the mrs to do a walk around with me before I gave it back, just to make sure it's still minty mint. Can't believe no-ones bought it off you yet.
For anyone interested, spoke to powerstation today. Roughly £1200 all in including fitting and setup. Easily adjustable too, 12 position's. Can't fcking wait!
So easy to fit. Find a mate that can tie there shoelaces, will be more than capable of fitting the seats. Pro's will charge £200 upwards, and do no better job.
Why would you? They'd charge you more! If it has to be Recaro's, capital seating are the best to buy from. But IMO (having had both), your paying 4-500 for the name alone. Much, much better to go 2nd hand if you must.
I've had recaro's, and cobra daytona's. The recaro's are a little more comfy, but the cobra's have a vastly better driving position, by being a fair bit lower. Daytona's also a lot cheaper, for the same money as the recaro's you could get cobra misano's, which is what I would go for.
