Put the stalk down into position 1, when it rains it should auto wipe. And like i said, the dial on the stalk sets the speed of the wipers. I turn mine on the fastest setting. But also how hard it rains determines how fast the wipers work.
Put your key in the ignition and turn to position 1. On...
The auto wipers work when the stalk is down in position 1. The speed of the wipers is set with the dial you can see on the stalk.
The square in the bottom of the window is cut out fitted from factory because the windscreen is coated . It was for French drivers who use toll roads and have...
If you haven't got a bottle with the spec of the gearbox oil on, your best bet is ask the neighbour exactly what he's given you. Better still ask him to take a pic of the label then you can upload it on here then people will be able to see if you've been given the wrong stuff.
Did you have any...
It's ixel 205 110. If you're touching up any scratches you'll still see where you've touched it up.
Rover stone grey is very close. I had some made up quite a few years ago at a local paint supplier. They had to adjust it slightly as stone grey isn't an exact match.
Or you could try Autopaint...
The anti squeal shims are fitted as standard. Alot of people remove them but I always leave them in as they wouldn't have been fitted if they weren't needed. I usually just file a little bit off the pad backing plate so the pad moves freely. Job done.
You've already changed the usual suspects. I'd change the pre cat lambda sensor for a genuine Bosch one. I think Bosch recommend that they be changed every 90k miles.

I've just paid £414 with Hastings Premier for my 182. Basically Hastings top cover through confused with a £20 Halfords voucher. Hastings renewal quote was £455. Shite post code 😢
I would never buy anything that's cheap and would compromise my saftey. Be it tyres or brakes.
Ive been driving a 1*2 for 20 years and tried lots of different tyres. Some I've been happy with, some less happy.
As I said in my last post the best tyres I've ever had are the Michelin PE2s which...
What's with all the " I'll try and find lots of negative things to say about Avon tyres"?
The op wanted some recommendations for tyres. I gave my real life experience of Avon ZV7s. Ok. So they might not be the newest design or technology. But a good tyre back then is still a good tyre now imo...
Another vote for Avon ZV7s. Good grip in the wet and dry and last longer than some of the softer tyres and only 62 quid a tyre from Camskill. I've got a set on my 182 that have lasted 12k miles. I used to run Rainsports but would only get about 5.5k a set.
On the original 182 exhaust the centre silencer was fitted a couple of inches after the cat/ olive joint so I'm guessing that would be the best place to fit one. The original centre silencer was quite a long one too as you can see in the pic.
If you're running without a cat that'll also...
