Mine was in similar condition... I paid £2600 for it. Spent £400 and it's perfect now so I've saved some money.
If it's cheap enough, do it. Just use it as a bargaining tool. £10 says the guy doesn't know that a belt change is cheaper on the cup, so just blag it. Tell him it's going to cost you...
I'm tempted by White.... But they always look better on darker cars IMO. I'm having trouble picturing mine on anything other than silver?
If I grab some pictures, could some kind soul knock up a quick Photoshop for me?
Ian_s, that is really seriously clean! Good work :)
Looks lovely that Dave. Not sure if my cup would pull off the black too well though.... What suspension are you running on that? Wheels fill the arches quite nicely really.
Jordi, doesn't necessarily have to be a sport mate no.
Sorry, I know I've made loads of posts about wheels recently, but it's such a hard choice.
I know you all love a bit of picture whoring so could I please have pictures of Clio's on 15'' team dynamics please.... Any colour of wheel or car.
I've tried searching but I can't find many pictures of...
That's fair enough, but that was the point I was trying to make in the first place... That the Clio will be similar in pace down a back road to the st that he had.
The extra 25hp or whatever it is makes next to no difference down a slippery b-road.
I agree with the 'my Clio was faster than...
I'm pretty sure the mountune pack does nothing to the handling of the car? Just engine stuff? I doubt there's many that would disagree that a cup will keep up with a standard st down the twisty's?
Either way, it's almost entirely down to the driver anyway. I didn't aim to piss anyone off with...
There's loads of places for 182 stuff mate. Depends what you're after.
Induction kits are generally a waste of time, but they do sound good.
Exhaust and decat, again pretty useless for power gains really. But the placebo from the noise works well.
Have a look
Through the for sale ads mate.
Where in that post did I say anything about it being in straight line? Why don't you read things before you jump on the argument bandwagon? I'm fully aware that the focus would beat my Clio in a straight line... Down the b-roads near my house, my Clio is quicker.
Jesus Christ. Read things before...
Red just looks like you're pretending to have brembo's....
Yellow wins for me. Yellow callipers on the front, black rear drums.
Just use wire brush
Some solvent cleaner (carb cleaner / brake cleaner etc)
Hammerite metal paint.
