Who'd thought the day you bought it and drove it all the way home from Scotland that it would end up on the back of a recovery truck on its way to be crushed.
It's not a case of Un bolting it and it will come off.
You need to Un bolt the upper engine mount, Jack the engine up and put a bit of wood in the gap.
Once you've Un bolted the sump it's a bit tight because of the oil pump.
I think I might have even loosened off the sub frame bolts to get a...
I'm sure these where a S/hand set of studs that you don't know the history of?
The way to help avoid it, buy a new stud kit and always torque them up to the correct setting's.

The 2.5 wasn't a good engine, has a few problem's.
They need to be forged to be really. I know Torque GT won't take them as a PX unless they have been.
