Quick question please... Can someone tell me what needs changing if the rear wheel bearing goes on a 172? Is it just the wheel bearing or more? Renault have done some work on my Dads car and I think they are trying to cover their arses. Cheers.

The Vee Ph1 is 2 years or 12K, mines had 4 in 6 six years including the major service which isn't needed yet.

Sailed through the MOT, thats one way around the emissions test.

Get the water pump done when you get the cambelt done, if that goes its a huge amount of labour so may aswell get it done whilst the engines out. I also had the clutch done for peace of mind to save on a few quids labour whilst the thing was apart.

All done and fixed, tensioner and the power steering pump. Good value aswell. I'm a happy happy boy now its tucked away in the garage:D

I did spy your car in there a few months back when I was having some work done. Service is excellent, wouldn't take it anywhere else.:)

down at SG, had a rattle that we thought was coming from the tensioner on the Aux belt, seems not now. Might be the Alternator, he doesn't think its the power steering as its working fine. The search continues........
