Yeah sounds good, lack of knowledge/experience of them has put me off them as well but IMO those types of coatings are definitely the way forward especially on wheels
I'm still hoping to make this but it depends if i get the Megane fixed in time, Hopefully my parts arrive this week so i can get it down to SWR to get sorted
I looked at it when it first came out but the issues put me off, The can i have is the new V3 so I'm looking forward to trying it out eventually.
Have always said i will switch to proper ceramic/quartz coatings instead of the traditional Sealants and waxes i have been using but lack time/garage...
Thought i would stick this up on here, Seems to be quite a few that are into proper detailing :)
This was done last year not long after my mate had picked it up for a steal, 6k IIRC from the Auctions and had only done 13k miles with less than 1k between its last yearly service so a very low...
I got the Korrosol from CYC, Had some reward points so think it only cost me 8 quid. Ill need to look for CarPro discount, Fancy a coating like CQUK next year.
Going to leave the cancoat til next year, Or try it on my parents or a mates car but ill get some gloves and a mask before i do it...
From what i have seen on DW it works almost as good as IronX, Which for me personally is still the best fall out remover. Just have to wait and see. Im dreading using it after running Carbotech pads all year haha!
This is from last year just using Pagid RS29's

This little lot turned up today, after something that is quick and easy to use but still protects and looks decent hence the wetcoat.
Not tried Korrosol yet as I have always stuck with IronX but this was less for twice the amount.
Hoping this weather f***s off in the next few days, want to at...
Beware, Some TDO's don't allow slicks without a cage, I certainly wouldn't
You can't compare AD08R's to A048's, One is a high performance road tyre, The other is a proper R rated track tyre.
DZ03's for outright grip, Best R rated tyre that i have used. Need to try some PSC2's though
888's are...
K-tec have listed it, Almost 2k for a catback with the same Diameter as the OEM system.
Custom 3" Ti system can be had for less, Not that i would ever spend that much on something that offers little gains, The cat/downpipe is the restriction on them
White is boring on them imo. RS Meganes should always be a bright colour, if I didn't get one in Yellow, capsicum was my next choice.
Saying that, they look lovely in silver
Fact?
Slower on track and less grip on the road on our Meganes, Can send you some datalogs if you want to look at them?
Anyway, I'm out. You can carry on but in my own experience they are worse than the PS2's they supposedly replaced. Ill stick to my PSS's for road use
Yes of course it is.
Yawn.
Im going on my personal experience as well as the feedback from friends who have actually used them, Not because they read it on the internet. Out of all the many types of tyres i have ran on the Megane they were some of the worst, Certainly for feel
It's a surprise seeing so many people raving about the PS3's on here. I put them on the Megane after the OEM PS2's had died and hated them, Step back from the PS2 they replaced and they were soon binned for something else. Common thing with RS Megane's.
Maybe they just work better on a...
