In my experience, Newish good condition R rated Semi slicks give better outright traction that worn slicks. Saying that, Turn in on slicks is savage!

Yeah sounds good, lack of knowledge/experience of them has put me off them as well but IMO those types of coatings are definitely the way forward especially on wheels
