My Mk3 didn't have the luxury of the auto lights or wiper setup. So, my question is, what would be needed to make it happen?

Service parts for the Vectra were stupidly cheap on trade. Genuine parts, like oil filters for £1, You could get 4x 5ltr bottles of oil for under £40. I could service the Vectra myself with all genuine parts for around £70 tops.

I miss my old V6 Vectra. Still got my trade card at Vauxhall too.

That sits pretty nicely. Top colour too, be sure to keep on top of that.

I don't know if you know your Geography Russ, but he's living in Johannesburg. This means that his car is ALWAYS in his garage when at home, which is in a secure gated community. At work, it's parked in a secured and guarded car park (We're talking a guy operating an electric gate, who sits...

The garage who changed the tyres checked that. As I said above though, it doesn't matter what wheel it is on the front offside corner, so I doubt he has a problem with all 4 wheels.

Car is parked on a flat concrete, painted floor, in his garage. No kerbs and wheels are pointing straight or near as dammit. It won't be mates letting it down, as it's either at work, or in his home (which being in Jo'burg is in a gated community).

But on every wheel, if it's put on that corner? That's a bit of a fluke. Remember, it doesn't matter which wheel he puts on that 1 corner, they all do it. However, when the wheels are on the other 3 corners, they're fine!

They've checked the original wheel, but the problem is there with any of the other wheels put on the offside front corner, so I don't think it's the wheels. Especially as they're then fine on another corner.

A mate of mine down in Jo'burg has a weird problem with his Toyota Run-X (Corolla, basically). Off-side front tyre will deflate to flat in about 2 weeks. He needed new tyres all round anyway, so got them put on and asked them to check that rim. New valves, no dinks in the rim, new tyre seated...

There's a daft little inspection cover on the bottom of the bumper, so if you're slim you might be able to do it that way. Otherwise from memory, you can take off the front wheels and then the arch liners. You can easily get to the passenger side but can't remember on the driver's side.

Haha! Few more BHP and I reckon I could give it a go.

That's the puppies. Shop around though, as you can get them cheaper than that. As for spacers, check out the traders on here if you're a member.

I'll consult the good old Haynes manual! It's got it's mot due next weekend so I might ask them to check the alignment on the machine.

Manual adjustment? You mean the toggle switch in the car? If so, that's set to zero. Don't worry about the cost. Trade card. ;)

So I fitted all new bulbs in my headlights at the weekend, and I'm not overly impressed with the high beam on my mk3 now. The drivers side headlight is suffering from condensation which I'm currently trying to sort. However, more light seems to be aiming at the ground now, rather than ahead...

That was another option Chi. Was tempted to try it tonight. Just try not to melt anything! :D

Stuck a silica bag to the inside of the high beam cap on my lights and it seemed to start working after about 10 minutes on my mk3 headlights, but since leaving it and coming inside, it's all started to mist up again inside! :( Will continue to swap them out, and maybe try some "beefier" silica...
