Halfords bulbs

So I fitted all new bulbs in my headlights at the weekend, and I'm not overly impressed with the high beam on my mk3 now.

The drivers side headlight is suffering from condensation which I'm currently trying to sort.

However, more light seems to be aiming at the ground now, rather than ahead.
Checked the bulb seating, and that's all ok.

Is there anything else I can check? Or has anyone else had any issues like this?

Have you tried manual adjustment on the light?

Hate to think how much you paid for them bulbs!

Manual adjustment? You mean the toggle switch in the car? If so, that's set to zero.

No, should be able to use a allen key to re-align the light. Not 100% if/where it is on a mk3. That's okay then!

I'll consult the good old Haynes manual! It's got it's mot due next weekend so I might ask them to check the alignment on the machine.

That may be best. I might have a photo of the mk2 adjustment on my phone so I'll look now. Should be similar on a mk3

its should be a little plastic wheel on the headlight.

(its a mazda headlight) should be the same.

That's the one, Allen key in the top white thing, which turns the white thing below, which adjusts the headlight!
