Hi all im thinking about buying a Canon 70D with the 18 - 135mm lens for my birthday next month.
I was also looking at the Canon 7D but was told that its an older model and that the 70D replaces it?
Is there any other accesories that i will need to buy when starting out?
Any help and advice...

Yes mate, gives me something to do ready for the good weather next year.
I only did it as i couldn`t be fitting new coilovers to a rusty beam. My OCD wouldn`t let me....lol
Anyway hows yours coming on?

Hmmm, i have cams but won`t be fitting them just yet.
Coilovers are next on the shopping list but im in no rush as the car wont be used in the winter months.

So a little up date, i got a call from the powder coaters on friday afteernoon saying that my bits where ready for collection.
Saturday morning i collected the bits and set about fitting my Powerflex beam bushes.
The pile of bits that i sent away.
Fitted the bushes...
I think there is one guy who has one, feed back is good so far and am i right in saying that they are cheaper than buying bushes?
Oh they need powder coating/painting or it will rust. :(

The guy who i used to work for who owns the Aston garage has a 22B, he bought it off of a customers son who smashed it to bits drunk.
He gave 3k for it i think, priced up the bits and just the rear wing was £1800.
Did you read the add mate? 26k spent.

It makes me feel sick knowing the money i have spent on the clio including buying it could have bought me something epic like the scoob you`ve just bought.

I did have one of the 1.8 16v cams fitted but i dont remember which one, i only had one because i got told that the other was the same???
Anyway, my old car.
I had a MK2 GTI 8v, bought a 2.0l 16V 9a engine and gearbox out of a Corrado that had been hit in the rear. I had to convert the Corrado gearbox from hydraulic to cable clutch which was easy enough.
I then had to buy the fuel pump, metering head unit and inlet from the MK2 golf GTI 16V. The 9A...
