Years ago we used to deal with them as we had there brakes on our Aston racer.
Proper pain in the ass company to deal with back then.
I dont know wgat they are like now though.
If I had bought a car from you or any car trader that specialises in that particular brand then id just be talking to them.
Its not like you are one of these ass holes car trader's that will
1, mug him off or 2, try and wriggle out of it.
Anyway whats done is done.
Anything leaving ktec shouldn't be sub standard, as as a company they shouldn't want there name attached to it.
Unless there attitude is "we will push out s**t untill we get cought" which the more complaints I read about the more I think this is the case.
That pict that was posted on here with...
I worked on them for 4 years at a company call Porscha bodyshop
The newest back then was the 993 Turbo 4.
Most was the 3.2 Carrea, 911 turbo's and 964.
Oh we did restore a 356 B cab.
Anyway OT, I hope that the people who are involved get some kind of compensation back from ktec, even if its there labour fee.
And no ktec not a free gift voucher for a rolling road session.
Cheers dude. :)
It had curly carbon miglia arches.
The rear steel arches where cut and raised so I could run the car low without the tyre rubbing the arch.
They can end up costing lots and lots.
The spec of mine.
Engine.
Avonbar racing 1380
Richard longman big valve head
1.5 roller tip rockers
Piper 285 cam
Kent cams twin timing chain
Ultra light steel flywheel
ARP head studs
ARP rod bolts
13 row oil cooler
5" steel inlet
Single weber 45 DCOE...
That's the one.
It was RR at 270 something, (ktec stated the 370) when I spoke to chris he said he had lost intreast in the car now and I belive it was sitting still broken.
Im sure chris told me that his yellow car engine was built by someone else.
Kyle knows more about his cars tbh.
