splitter is cool! set of dual optics, clear side repeaters and do something with your 16v badges, possibly silver or colourcode, colourcode the fog light surrounds. Ph1 rear lights wud suit that better i recon being all red.
most importantly they wing mirrors need to go in the bin!
i beleive under MOT rules though they are physically not aloud to remove any part to further inspect anything, so if the beam pattern is off they are not aloud to check the bulbs are secure etc.
i could be wrong.
yeah it was, i traded it in for my 200... what a f**king mistake that was.
im still up for going, my wingman isnt coming with me though so im looking for peepz to go with, whos camping and who hotel'in it?
camping could be decent if birds are going to be there
hotel will be easier to get...
yeah i understand the shorter shaft is always going to spin up first when launching but i dont launch it, and ive very rarely had it spin a wheel on exit of a corner either, however we will see how the next pair of tyres wear.
ill report back when the new tyres are on, probably friday morning...
try running a couple psi more than you usually would on your road tyres, helps a bit with the rolley polley sidewalls!
think i was running 35psi front 32psi rear, was a few years back tho
also quick question, if the car is suffering from a sticking pad or something brake related, will a brake efficiency tester or what ever they call it that they use for MOT's show this up, as like i said around town the brakes feel fine no pulling, hard on the brakes approaching a roundabout etc...
yep thats the issue as far as they are concerned its ok, now i dont know enough about suspension geometry to say if that can still cause the issue or not, id imagine on day to day road driving thats acceptable, (it drives fine daily) push on though and its dangerous.
yeah think its going for a megane 265 at the end of the month actually. after having a poke about one yesterday. going to book a test drive in the 265 demo that ness have.
heres the alignment report guys...
They said the subframe sits in locating dowels, so once its in, you cant get movement from it, so once Progrip got it sitting in properly, thats as much as you can do, so it still has that 4mm difference between the front wheels.
Everything is sitting within...
our driving school learner cars do 140k on standard 1.2 16v clutches and they get abuse! so i wouldnt worry about it unless the car has had a mega mega hard life!
im sure someone found a 1.2 16v that had never had any work done on it that had 52mm spacing! but ive personally never saw one, all the mk2 ph2/3 1.2 16v's ive ever worked on were 58mm
ive owned 5 mk2 clios and had to do rear dampers on all 5 at some point!
3 of them have had rear discs and all 3 needed both handbrake cables too at some point!
car went in today, they have full 4 wheel lazer aligment, looks similar to a hunter setup but this one is a snap-on one.
alignment was done, subframe all checked etc car is now all within manufacturer tollerances, car is still slightly unstable under braking but keep in mine one of they tyres...
wouldnt bother with an uprated intercooler the standard one is pretty well designed, you can use a generic uprated one with some custom pipework if you want to go bigger.
any non RS springs will fit it, wouldnt bother though unless you are changing dampers too or going the full way and getting...
i didnt find it made much difference on my older 172's but i used it anyway, i wouldnt put cheap oil in my cars so i wasnt putting cheap petrol in, just part of running a performance car.
found the 200 doesnt run anywhere near as nice on standard 95ron as what it does on 98/99 ron. Found Tesco...
