Sounds like the alternator, check the feed cable on the back as I have known them to break but not bring on a light.

You say that. But a ph1 with 438's and ITB's needed the full straight at Bedford to get past me. I lifted in the end to allow him in!

Clutches can slip when hot but get better. I've had it a few times. But no if the clutch is engaged the throttle won't be able to make the revs rise without the road speed.

Your correct Rob in your first guess. The 2 on the left are inlet manifold ones, as are the 4 bottom ones I don't recognise the 4 on the right. The 2 in the middle will be many things such as holding the AC pipe to the front panel or the top inlet etc.
