I expect if you did enough research you could probably get the DTH ones cheap enough, as they're fairly cheap even with KTAX.

Etch primer and regular spray paint is what I used. Didn't stone chip with mine. Keep the paint thin as you'll end up insulating it otherwise!

Why? It only takes a day to strip and rebuild a head. Plus a few hours each side for removal and refitting.

Sounds like you've over tightened it and you've damaged the flare.

It's very difficult to see, but it does look like the column isn't far enough down the rack.

You won't mess with the steering alignment, not on there anyway. Has it slid all the way down? You have to manipulate the UJ To get it to the right angle. Or, you have put it on 180* out.

If its only an intermittent problem it becomes difficult to diagnose on your own with no knowledge. Are you local to any specialist?

It states MUST. Not recommended. However, even if its recommended they should have said its recommended and then if the customer says no, they either state on the receipt that no warranty is given due to customer request on aux kit not being changed. Or turn the work away. I do the latter.

You should be able to push it with your fingers into line. Of do you mean it's not coming down far enough onto the rack? If its the latter it's time for a new column as you've started to collapse it.

It should've been changed. If he asked for a belt change, it's what should've been done. You don't go and ask for a service, and list off everything that should be done do you? Greasing joints etc, its part of the Job, and unless specifically requested its not changed they have not done the job...

Aux is 3years/36k.
