yeah deffo, im insuring in in 2 weeks on its own policy so i can use it whenever i want, cant wait to get back in a quick car, it felt brilliant the other day when i had it a run!
i think we need to get a PH1 meet arranged theres a few of us up this way, me, you, john, gaz, dunno if dave still has his?
done the wheels myself with the help of a mate, just got the old tyres off them, prepped them, painted them and then had new tyres fitted, they came out spot on too, ive...
got a new set of T1-R's fitted to them yesterday after the refurb, not had time to give the car a clean, its a bit dusty from sitting in the garage for a few months!
not my usual DSLR shots as my mate wasnt about for me to pinch his cam!
just fitted new front discs and pads, rear discs and...
attached to the 172, wont sell it, said that with my previous one and ended up selling it, only to have the ph1 a few months later! so this ones staying!
the GT DCi is just a work horse however i love it, it does everything i expected it to and it does it well
what makes it even better is the fact my neighbour just caught me with a bucket over my head making brrrrrap noises, if it sounds anything like my test did, it will sound like a twice as loud, twice as bad K&N
thats a 172 i bet, be a late 04 plate one with cruise and traction control, check the manifold i bet its got a 4-1. has 172 wheels and exhaust.
why is it white though!
hi guys, looking to order a set of adaptors for my GT to run clio 197/200 speedlines, ive found FK ones but what i need to know is what is the stud patern and centre bore of a clio 197/200?
1.2 16v Expression - 140,000 miles (was 3yrs old at the time in 2005) converted to full dynamique spec, and i mean the FULL lot, dials, fogs, FULL interior, somtimes the wheels when the speedlines were off.
running FK coilovers
i blew it up at 140k, put a 40k engine in it, ran sweet as a nut...
Re: 182 manifold and decat fitted to the ph1, now a few running issues, ideas welcome
weird one that, mine was running a same setup bar a k-tec stealth instead of yozza and i was running all lambda sensors fitted and plugged in as standard, sounds like a pre cat sensor issue? is it your one...
thats a good dealer price id say if its mint with FSH as you said, just make sure its had the belts done by renault or a specialist with invoice to back it up, should be around the £600 mark.
ditch finder tyres or did you ramp the brakes on mid corner? lol i find it hard work even getting mine to step out, the ph1 on the other hand is easy to get sideways when you want it!
lol, good old K4M sounds like its running wild cams.
id have a guess at throttle body needing cleaned out or ignition coil if its still a problem on these new K4Ms
yeah its good i like it, its not the cheapest way of doing things but it suits me nicely, wee DCi does 50mpg every day with ease, thats driving quickly, £0 road tax, £300 a year to insure at 22 and has every toy on the option list :)
i out grew the ph1 as a daily, i love it when im in the mood for it but i felt a bit embarrassed giving people a lift to meetings or even turning up to them in my 10yr old clio that sounds like its exhaust is falling off.
was going to change it for a clio 200 but a move with work ment i was...
you should declair everything thats not factory fitted to the base model of a car, so that includes optional extras such as air conditioning, cup packs, uprated headunits etc.
most people dont. infact i dont know a single person that declairs even serious modifications
