Drop the oil and bang a shaft in, get a magnet on a stick and fish the rollers out. Seen it happen a few times on the R5gtts and people have got away with it, nothing to lose and cheap enough.

Pull and twist gets them off damage free. Small bit of epoxy resin when refitting to stop it coming loose.

Mk2Clio sport springs will go straight on and always loads of sets for sale cheap. Avoid apex if you want a decent ride, eibach sportline are decent for road use.

Small update Had the Kangoo weighed and come out a lardy 1138kg ! Its quite superleggera too with no airbags or abs etc. I reckon it would be a struggle to get it under 1000kg without going really agressive taking everything out. As i quite like it as it is interior is quite a nice place to be...
