I was going to go for f1's but decided to try Kumho KU31's from clarkie. Very very impressed, tbh they could well be as good as the f1's from what ive found so far.
i loved my 172, but when i drove the valver it was so much better imo, just needed more power. now its got the 172 lump, its perfect. i find myself slowing down to make a gap to accelerate all over again:o
ive owned a valver and a ph1 172. my 172 was also known as a 'quick one' by those who toyed with it/went out in it i.e markcup.
ROund here we have something called the bridge run, come off a roundabout, at 30mph then floor it, see what you can get. My 172 used to make 100mph every single time...
the pedal is self adjusting, however if you put you hand up follow the pedal to the top you'll feel the ratchet teeth. slightly below that there is a pivot point, now to release the ratchet you need to push the top in and pull the pivot point out. its possible just need some perservereance. tbh...
sounds like the cable has stretched so far the pedal cant take up the slack, or the box is on its way out...
where are you based, im sure a clued up member will be near you...
Missed 3rd on the 2nd run, poor quality due to phone being ductaped to the steering wheel lol, also goes dark between 1st and 2nd runs whilst negotiating the taxi ways on the runway.
Opinions welcome.
