Do i have to run the UCH? if not, how do i get around it with the decoder ring running into the uch, do i just find the PIN data on the ecu, and cut out the uch completely?
Now, ive got the wiring loom in my hand, and from the decoder ring ive got 3 wires, ones an earth and the other 2 go to 2 different plugs on the UCH, now, does this mean the immobiliser is in the UCH? or it goes through the UCH into the ECU? so i could potentially run the ecu with out the...
So many differnt directions i want to go, but as you said i cant get the ecu maped other than by a webber dealer i gave it back to the guy who got it for me.
yea, i was planning to do it in a weekend or so get the 172 lump in and running.
I will go down the route of using the 172 ecu, just need clarification of the uch being needed for the engine or not.
Right well ive just looked at pictures and the oil returb is on the other side of the block on the 4R, so i am going to get the 172 head machined for a dizzy, then run the williams managment, and scrap the vvt. either that or...

popping the fuel line off wont tell you anything other than its noit the pump, but you know its not because its priming.
pop off an ht lead and see if theres a spark.
