no need for the head lamp, just the slam panel and lift the engine. its also self tensioning, soyou will need a 10mm sump plug key to undo the tensioner.
well ive set them back to 0.7mm i know what im doing i used to be a mechanic, but didnt have the uptodate autodata to find the plug gap. runs alot better aswell.
as you all know i recenbtly bought a clio valver, it has a dent in the bonnet which i am removing, basically, would it look/sell better if i debadged it or left the badge there.

My 172 mk1 is exactly the same, replaced the belt its exactly the same, the air con pulley is what is causing the whine, so it may just be a case for me to get rid of the sc and just get a shorter belt.
