been looking into the 1.2 turbo myself not for the speed because it would cost mega money to go above 120bhp but just because it would be different, but really not worth the money

you can get coilovers for that money (i think) or you could get a set of 40mm apex springs with uprated dampers for about £280 ish or something like that (dont know what uprated dampers the 2.0 boys use?) which leaves you with £200-ish for a set of braided brake lines and uprated pads or...

if you can post a pic of the filter in yours ill tell you if its the same as the older style engine or not

no they dont fit, different throttle body and airbox. saying that if its just a pannel filter your using they might be the same shape/size to save money so might fit even tho the airbox is different, ive never seen inside the ph3 airbox

mine has apex -60mm suspension kit, 130,000 miles of running in, i change oil every 6k for decent stuff, gets hammered regularly, EBC GreenStuff brake pads, only engine performance mods are induction mods (airbox modified for maximum airflow and hks pannel filter) and mine flys for what it is...

common problem for the cambelt to go when the aux belt goes, valves stay open and piston hits them = bent valves. you'll get a new engine out it though!

if they bring that out with a normal interior, solid roof and even just a 1.6 16v ill have one! 1.6t would be cool as fuk tho

MK1 172 is lighter, has 15" wheels (better handling with these imo), cable throttle so id stick with it

yep as said above expression with full dynamique interior (cheers mattT lol) inc silver dash inserts, door handles, handbrake button etc, dynamique wheels, dynamique spoiler, and soon fog lights. all it needs now is silver dial surrounds and dark dash and its sorted :)
