Rusty as f**k servo
Pedal always feels spongy
Pull your arch liner back and have a look at the servo, I've not seen a Clio that hasn't needed MC seals yet. You won't see any liquid because they only weep slightly over time, but you'll definitely see the rust
Then don't lol
If the seals are old then they're used to being pushed to a certain amount. Pushing them further and harder puts them under too much stress which can roll them and then they stay rolled over, or it will just rip them to shreds haha. It's like getting my great-grandad into the gym...
Yeah I got 1944 too
If your headunit is the wrong one for the age of the car (pre-05 is tunerlist and 05 onwards is update list) then the radio wont work at all and you'll just see "ERROR" on the display
If it's not asking for the code hold down 2 and 5 on the headunit and it will reset it...
You'll have to excuse @leeds2592 he's frustrated that his brakes still aren't working properly 😂
But yeah there's a small piece of metal you'll need to t**t out of the way, I've done mine and my bumper hasn't flown off... yet
Hope it gets sorted mate
Hopefully, after that you'll have a nice reliable car. If I get a day spare I'll come up and give you a hand cleaning your boost pipes out if you like :)
As @1985michael182 says, you free up so much room in the bay! The safety side of it outweighs the feeling HPAS gives
The dCi racks are all the same. The 1.2/1.4/1.6 16v have more lock to lock but look the same pretty much which is where some people go wrong. I'm sure the dCi is 2.25 lock to...
Mine scrubs on 16mm spacers and ET40 Rota Slipstreams with 195/50/15 PS3's. Not enough to hit the bracket but enough to rub the arch liner on full lock
I'm not even gonna bother getting a new pair of trolley jacks, might just get a lift like the above and save myself some hassle!
Already told my mrs the garage at the new house is getting flattened and a 24ft one is getting built with a single phase 2 poster 😂
Yeah type D is chemical based and goes up in a lovely whooof
Dont ask me how I know. Just use your imagination when you think of "drain pan + welding slag"
